2005 Excellence in Speech Awards Every student who participated earned points for their school.  Each entry is awarded a medal and one of the following points:  Gold medal - Critic's Choice (4 points); Silver medal - All State (3 points); Bronze medal - Finalist (2 points); Small Bronze medal - Achievement (1 point).  Of the 378  schools participating, the schools listed below represent the top 5% of total team points earned and were honored with the WHSFA "Excellence in Speech" Award. The schools in the top 5% for 2005 earned between 70 and 89 team points.
