This course is for individuals NOT previously certified (since 2008) by WISDAA to adjudicate high school Speech. Initially, you pay for and enroll in an online course that takes about 2 hours, followed by a 3-hour live online workshop, culminating with an assessed evaluation of a student presentation. Once the assessment has been completed successfully and payment has been received in the state office, certification lasts 3 years, inclusive of the school year of enrollment.
Since the season has begun, we have replaced live online workshops with an asynchronous set of tutorials to practice evaluating. When you get to the “Workshop” lesson in this course, you will enroll (for free) in a second course with asynchronous tutorials that serves as the equivalent of the live workshop.
Schools paying for multiple individuals in one payment: each individual should first enroll in the course, selecting “check by mail” as their payment method. Then, contact our office to request an invoice, naming each individual the payment will cover.
