All advertisements, vending booths, and sponsorships must be finalized by October 20, 2021, to make the publication deadline.

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Theatre Festival reaches more than 1,700 Wisconsin high school students, teachers, and other theatre professionals. We partner with Footlights for a professional theatre-style program, and offer sponsorship opportunities with billing and “commercials” as well as program advertising incentives.

Exhibiting

  • Exhibit: Friday, Nov. 19, 8:00am-4:00pm, Saturday, Nov. 20, 8am-2:30pm (1-2pm exclusive time for exhibits each day and no other programming)
  • $150 fee ($25 discount if paid before September 1) includes 1 table, 2 festival passes (excluding showcase performances), and listing in the printed Footlights program.
  • $50 prime space add-on (limited to four exhibits); includes prime placement of logo on easel outside exhibit area.

(1). Exhibit space is limited to the provided table. Beginning with the 2021 festival, exhibit tables will be assigned by festival staff. Additional tables are $100/ea. Exhibit pricing is for the entire festival; partial pricing is not available. Refunds only will be given for exhibits cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the beginning of the initial exhibit setup period, and minus any credit card processing fees. All fees must be paid prior to the start of the festival. Exhibitors with unpaid fees will not be permitted to attend. The WHSFA reserves the right to refuse reservations to any exhibitor.

(2). Exhibitors must provide their own table linens, extension cables, and power strips. They must bring all materials in to the facility during the setup period and must remove all materials — including trash — when they leave. A maintenance fee may be assessed if an exhibitor’s area is left disorderly or damaged. Advance shipping of up to one week prior to the festival is available, and exhibitors are responsible for arranging any post-festival shipping.

(3). Exhibitors must use the provided guest WIFI network; if a wired (ethernet) connections is desired, exhibitors must negotiate that (if available) with the host venue and pay any fees required by the hosting institution.

(4). Exhibitors are responsible for their own parking.

(5). Noise/visual elements from booths must not affect presentation of other exhibitors.

(6). Only the WHSFA may sell T-shirts, hoodies, and drawstring backpacks. Exhibitors may not have any promotional products that includes name and/or date of the event, with the exception of sponsored lanyards as provided in sponsorship opportunities for the event.

(7). We appreciate exhibits remaining set up for the entire exhibiting period during the festival, unless prior arrangements/special requests have been made with festival management.

(8). NOTE: Submitting an Exhibiting Application indicates your knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of these Exhibiting Guidelines. If you do not agree to the guidelines, do not submit an Exhibiting Application.

(9). The WHSFA retains the right to amend guidelines as necessary and where required by university policy or local laws. Exhibitors will be notified of any guidelines changes immediately.

Advertising

Advertising in the program booklet not only helps support programming to keep performing arts vital in the lives of young people, but it raises awareness of your products/services used by directors, as well as institutions of higher learning looking to recruit students. The festival typically attracts ~1,500-1,800 participants/adult guests.

High-resolution scans should be supplied at 300 dpi, line art at 600 dpi, and should be saved as PDF. Color images must be saved as CMYK. All printer and screen fonts must be provided or saved as outlines. Publications are printed heat set web and/or sheet fed offset and saddle stitched.

Would you like to include promotional “swag” for each participant to receive? Pay the $100 fee, send your materials,* and we’ll take care of the rest!

*Please work with our office to make arrangements to ship your swag directly to the venue to arrive about one week prior to the event.
