Starting with the 2021-22 school year, we are asking all vendors (inclusive of contractors who serve as adjudicators/contest staff) to register as a vendor by completing an online federal W-9 form, creating or using an existing Intuit QuickBooks’ “Self Employed” account. This will allow you to more easily complete the same form in subsequent calendar years, which we must collect annually to comply with tax reporting laws. It also allows you to update your address/other information if you move.

Step 1

A representative of WHSFA will ask for your legal name (as it appears on your taxes), and email address, which may be collected through an online form on this website.

Step 2

We will send you an invitation to complete the W-9 through QuickBooks online. If you already have an Intuit QuickBooks Online/Self-Employed account, please share with us the email address you use for that account; otherwise, create a free account, which will give you limited access for creating and sending W-9 forms.

Step 3

If the WHSFA pays you $600 or more in a calendar year (January-December), we will generate an IRS form 1099, and will notify you via email when it's ready to download. You will be able to find it in the same account you used to create your W-9.
